About InnerlyTests
Last updated: 2026-10-25
- InnerlyTests is run by AFS IT Services Ltda, a company based in São Paulo, Brazil.
- The 8 tests are short self-reflection quizzes that have not been scientifically validated. They don't diagnose anything and don't replace a professional.
- Questions and texts are produced and reviewed with the help of artificial intelligence. No psychologist has reviewed the content.
- Your answers stay on your device. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services, not a test.
1. Who runs the site
InnerlyTests is run by AFS IT Services Ltda, a company based in São Paulo (SP), Brazil. It is the same company responsible for the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
We don't list authors with degrees or specialties because the content is not written or reviewed by psychologists or other mental health professionals (see section 4).
2. What the tests are, and what they aren't
The site has 8 self-reflection tests about emotions, relationships and how you relate to yourself. They are free, need no account, take about 2 minutes and are meant for reflection. They are not:
- a diagnosis of any health condition, physical or mental;
- a psychological assessment or a professional psychological test;
- a replacement for talking to a psychologist, a doctor or another health professional.
Some tests use everyday expressions such as “emotional dependence” or “self-sabotage”. We use these words in their everyday sense, not as the name of a diagnosis.
3. How the tests work
Each test has 4 questions. Each answer is worth 0 to 6 points, and the site adds them up (0 to 24). The total falls into one of four fixed ranges, the same in all 8 tests: 0 to 7, 8 to 13, 14 to 19 and 20 to 24 points. Each range has a text written in advance. A range may have two versions of that text, and the site picks one based on the direction of your answers (in the emotional dependence quiz, for example, needing others more or carrying everything on your own). That choice is made in your browser, like the calculation of the total, and is not sent to anyone.
We set these ranges ourselves; they don't come from research. The tests are not versions of scientific questionnaires and have not gone through psychometric or clinical validation, which means no one has studied whether they measure what they set out to measure. With only 4 questions, your result is a rough snapshot, and it may change if you answer on another day.
So your result shows which descriptions your answers match, not who you are. Read it as a starting point, not as a measurement.
4. How the content is made
The questions, the result texts and the site's pages, including this one, are produced with artificial intelligence. Before they are published, they go through an editorial review, also carried out with the help of AI, that follows these rules:
- don't diagnose and don't promise outcomes;
- say what your answers suggest, without stating what you are or what you have;
- when a result touches on intense distress, calmly point to professional help;
- only state a health fact when there is a reliable source for it; without one, the sentence is removed or presented as a possibility.
That review is editorial, not clinical. The content has not been reviewed by a psychologist or any other mental health professional.
Not all of the older texts have gone through this full review yet. If something sounds like a diagnosis or seems wrong, please tell us at the email in section 8.
The versions in other languages are also translated with AI.
5. Why the site exists and how it is kept running
InnerlyTests exists to offer a simple, free way to stop and think about emotions and relationships. It can help you put a name to what you feel and decide whether you want to talk to someone about it.
The tests are free, and the site doesn't sell anything. It shows no ads today. It may start showing ads in the future; if that happens, the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy will be updated first.
6. Your answers
The tests run in your browser. Your answers and your result stay on your device and are not sent to our server. Google Analytics only loads if you click “Accept” on the cookie notice, and even then it doesn't receive your answers or your score.
If you share your result, the text with your score goes to the service you choose.
7. If you need help
The site doesn't provide care. No one reads your answers, so we have no way of knowing if you need help.
If you are in crisis, thinking about hurting yourself, or in danger, contact your local emergency services or an emotional support line in your country now. Talking to someone you trust can also help.
If a test brings up difficult feelings, you can stop at any time.
